In march I was inspired to do some playtesting. I ended up doing 30 in the first month and got a lot of positive responses. So I keep going!

I was immediately glad I started – playing demos made me curious about games again – I have immediately noticed that I get attached to the games I have tested.

On almost every 3rd playtest I have created, I got a happy response from the devs and I have realized that its much needed and that I can be helpful and have something to get better at.

If you are interested – I usually do at least 45 minutes first impression, and adding anything that I think could be worth changing in the game – coming from around 20 years of experience in playing games.

My goal: To get really helpful at playtesting any game and sometimes get a real gig. I do all the reports for free almost every day but just in case you want to support me:

I watched the entire playtest video and it was very thorough, especially your reluctance to quit when getting stuck a few times in places that were unintentionally hard like the Library underwater cave with the raft, we’ve already made changes specifically based on your playtest, how it looked like the time spent there was getting a bit frustrating, but you kept going anyway.

Thanks for the detailed review! Watching the video, it’s clear that the information about early game—combat, survival, and even the tutorials—is a bit too vague right now.  I’m gonna have to make the system way more talkative in the early stages! Also, I definitely agree that adding keybindings for keyboard play and giving clearer short-term goals are a must. Thanks for pointing those out!
